PRESIDENT
With decades of project management experience in the oil and gas industry, Cody Dawson brings a wealth of leadership, precision, and analytical expertise to Patriot Custom Homes Inc. Having managed multimillion-dollar projects both onshore and offshore, Cody developed a reputation for his ability to lead large teams, maintain strict timelines, and execute with uncompromising attention to detail.
What began as a personal passion — remodeling his own home alongside his wife, Kristen — soon grew into something much greater. Friends and family began seeking his help with their own projects, and what started as a weekend hobby evolved into a full-fledged business built on craftsmanship, trust, and a genuine love for creating spaces that inspire.
Cody eventually made the bold decision to leave his corporate oil and gas career to pursue his passion full-time, founding Patriot Custom Homes Inc. with a mission to deliver more than beautiful houses — he wanted to offer an experience grounded in honesty, integrity, and ease. His detail-oriented mindset and commitment to doing things the right way have shaped Patriot into a company where every project is managed with precision, care, and the personal touch that only true passion can provide.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
With a strong background in finance and client relations, Kristen Dawson brings organization, professionalism, and a people-first approach to Patriot Custom Homes Inc. Before co-founding the company, she worked with a leading financial brokerage in The Woodlands, supporting a team that managed over $5 billion in assets for ultra–high-net-worth families throughout the Houston area. In that role, she assisted financial advisors, coached new associates, and worked closely with senior management to develop efficient systems and processes — experience that now helps keep every Patriot project running seamlessly.
Kristen’s process-driven mindset and warm, approachable demeanor make her the perfect complement to Cody’s analytical and detail-oriented strengths. As the head of new business development, she’s often the first person clients connect with, ensuring every homeowner feels heard and supported from the very start. Behind the scenes, she keeps the business organized and efficient, and on-site she regularly collaborates with project managers, designers, and trade partners to ensure projects stay on schedule and exceed expectations.
Kristen’s dedication to communication, organization, and client experience helps make each Patriot home more than just a project — it’s a partnership built on trust, integrity, and care.

Woodlands Country Club Ladies lOunge
Patriot Home Construction partnered with The Woodlands Style House to complete a renovation of the Woodlands Country Club's ladies lounge and locker rooms, which was featured in PaperCity Magazine. The project involved reconfiguring the spaces to add more seating and make them more functional for activities like cards and preparing for events.

As more people noticed our attention to detail and commitment to quality, one project naturally led to the next.
Cody brings years of hands-on building experience and a deep understanding of the trades, managing each project with precision and a commitment to doing things the right way. Kristen draws from her background in finance, operations, and client experience to create a seamless process — clear communication, organized systems, and a service-first approach that helps clients feel supported from start to finish. Together, we blend craftsmanship with professionalism, making the renovation or custom-home journey smooth, transparent, and enjoyable.
As we grew, we began collaborating with talented designers, architects, and trades who share our values and dedication to excellence. These partnerships have allowed us to take on projects of all sizes — from thoughtful renovations to full-scale custom homes — each one approached with intention, integrity, and a respect for the people who live in the spaces we create.
